The highlight event of Schizophrenia Awareness Week, the 10th Annual Bruce Woodcock lecture, will be held at the BMW Edge Theatre at Federation Square on May 22 at 5.45pm.
This year’s guest speaker is Dr Sam Tsemberis the founder of the Housing First movement in the United States. Dr Tsemberis will be talking about bold new ideas for housing for people with a mental illness – the issue that was identified as the number one priority in last year’s Australia Talk Mental Illness 2007 survey.
