Fact Sheets on mental illness
The
35 MI Fact Sheets are easy to read and understand, practical,
short, and information-rich. They provide accurate, current
information that is both human and clinically useful. MI
Fact Sheets also cross-refer to allied mental illness conditions
and treatments, and provide valuable information sources
and useful contacts.
The range covers the entire journey of mental illness, including:

copies of MI Fact Sheets can also be ordered by completing
an order form and sending it to the Mental Illness Fellowship
Victoria.
Family
education and support
MI Fellowship’s family education programs offer information
and support to families and friends of people with mental
illness. They are comprehensive, current and research based
programs that combine:

information about the mental health and
legal system
practical frameworks to support people to
manage the impact of mental illness on their lives.

Community
education
‘Understanding mental illness’ is a customised
training program for workplaces and community organisations.
We can train your staff and volunteers to have a greater understanding
of mental illness and gain practical skills that will improve
their interactions with customers and business partners who
may have a mental illness.
MI
Fellowship can also provide speakers to talk about mental
illness for schools and universities.

MI Resource Centre
The latest information is crucial to increase understanding.
The MI Resource Centre contains books, audio and video cassettes,
reports, journals and newsletters on mental illnesses and
other related subjects. Borrowing items is free to members
of the MI Fellowship, and non-members are required to leave
a small
deposit.
