What is the appeal for?
Mental Illness Fellowship Victoria works with and gives people affected by mental illness a voice for change, inclusion and acceptance, and the opportunity to improve their quality of life.
Mental illness affects 1 in 5 Australians, who need to deal with isolation, loneliness and stigma while undertaking their journey to recovery. MI Fellowship believes in community inclusion, works to meet the challenges of mental illness and advocates for and provides vital services and support networks.

Where will the money go?
Your donation will go towards:
- providing fact sheets to people who need this information
- helping an individual or family access counselling
- assisting the delivery of the Certificate of General Education for Adults (CGEA) to students who have a mental illness
- providing access to our WellWays education and support program
- improving the outcomes of people with mental illnesses in education, employment and social activities
- delivering best-practice employment opportunities for people with a mental illness
- strengthening our advocacy campaigns
- promoting our message to stop the stigma
- assisting to fund an issue of MI Voice, our quarterly newsletter
Your support will allow us to confidently plan and implement support activities where none are available and expand our existing programs to enable people with mental illness to participate in positive recovery.
